"Historic village with unique houses surrounded by beautiful countryside!" Best traits of Silver End: Community Local walking routes SceneryLocal Resident (Current Resident) wrote a review in April 2023
"Crime is higher than stated as they only mention burglaries. there is drug use and vandalism. the roads are full of pot holes that do not get repaired and it is practically impossible to park let alone to drive down some roads due to cars parked on both sides of the roads. Public transport is a nightmare with busses stopping at 7pm on a weekday and not running at all on a Sunday. The doctors surgery is completely over stretched and it is practically impossible to get an appointment. There is a park and duck pond in the memorial gardens and a couple of playing fields and a skate park for the kids but not much for teenagers."
