Appledore has one main store nearby, Morrisons Bideford. There are a few pubs and bars nearby, including: Appledore Hall, Beaver Inn, Royal Hotel, The Champ, The Quay Inn, The Royal George, The Wayfarer Inn, Westleigh Inn.
