Try Elmer's End, I have lived here for nearly 50 years in the same house, there are a range of properties, terraced, semi's both Victorian, 1930s, 1950s (Ex council) and some later.
The railway station connects South to Hayes and and North to London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross about 35mins, frequency 15mins, tram link from Elmer's End station to Croydon town centre, Waddon, Mitcham and Wimbledon.
A good mix of schools and a nice range of parks, Cafes restaurants some independent shops and supermarkets etc.

- Tunbridge Wells, Kent: Classic English countryside setting with good schools, amenities, and direct train services. Train 50 mins.
- St Albans, Hertfordshire: Green spaces, good eateries/cafes, and direct trains, offering a city feel in a smaller town. Train within 40 minutes.
- Guildford, Surrey: Historic town with a mix of city and country living, direct trains to London Bridge take around 50-60 minutes.
- Sevenoaks, Kent: Offers a semi-rural lifestyle with fast trains to London Bridge. It's known for its great schools and countryside. Train 20-30 mins.
